Sandberg Explorer 1.0 was developed in 2004 as a series of 4 soloconcerts created and played by Thomas Sandberg.
Each concert had a theme which was explored in a curious, musical and performative way.
A general rule for all the concerts was that everything was allowed and that rules and habits should be challenged.
The ingredients was a huge collection of various sound sources such as found objects, kitchenware, percussion instruments and basically everything that could produce sound. Computers, electronics, effect devices, loopers, samplers was also integrated. And finally - the physical and performative aspect of the concert was strongly emphasized and explored.

All these elements are now blended into Sandberg Explorer 2.0 and the framework is developed constantly.
Sandberg Explorer 2.0 is being performed in many different places to many different audiences all over Europe.
