Sandberg Explorer was played twice at Stockholm Culture Festival on August 14, 2010.

On this Planet recieved the Danish Radio Award 2003 for best vocal CD recording in 2003. Has composed music for the new dance performance Champions by Uppercut Dance Company. Premiere : April 20, 2003.

The solopart as vocalist / performer in On this Planet. A brand new musical theatre performance created by stagedirector / designer Martin Tulinius and composer Anders Nordentoft. Performed in Kanonhallen, Copenhagen from november 30 until december 14 2002. Premiering a brand new soloperformance at Bådteatret ( The Boat Theatre ) in Copenhagen. The title is :
The secret life of Harry Wallbanger - and other musical monologues.
The performance consist of three pieces : The secret life of Harry Wallbanger by Andy Pape ( worldpremiere ), Rondeau by György Ligeti and Pär Forman's Delight, The Miniature by Thomas Sandberg. The show is running from november 14 until december 8, 2001.

Has just released the soloCD Match, on the label Dacapo Records. The release is the first of two solo-CDreleases at Dacapo containing contemporay danish music for solopercussion a.o. The second CD is recorded in june / july and released in november 2001.

Premiering the new 40 minutes piece by Anders Nordentoft for voice and sinfonietta - as a soloist with Athelas Sinfonietta Copenhagen. The piece, which is composed for the voice of Thomas Sandberg, is premiered on may 6, 2001 at The Black Diamond, Copenhagen.

Played three duoconcerts with improvised music on january 10, 11 & 12, 2001 at Den Anden Opera with saxophoneplayer Lars Moeller.

Played my soloperformance Musikteater/Teatermusik in Hamburg, Germany on october 28. & 29. 2000 and in Bergen, Norway on november 22,23 & 25. 2000.

Participated in Shakespeare's Macbeth at Bådteatret ( The Boat Theatre ) in Copenhagen as actor and musician. Music will be composed by Andy Pape. Period : April / May & Sept / Oct 2000.

Has in august 2000 as a singer / voice performer premiered two new songs by Anders Nordentoft with Athelas Sinfonietta Copenhagen. At this moment Anders is working on 45 minutes piece for voice and ensemble which I will premiere in spring 2001.

Participating in and composing music for the new choreography by Thomas Eisenhardt with Open Dance Productions. Feb. 2000 & April 2000. The music was created and recorded live by Thomas Sandberg & Fredrik Lundin during the dancerehersals and afterwoods edited and mastered on Macintosh. The instruments were saxophones, flutes, percussion, voice & electronics.

Participating as actor / musician in and composing music for the new theatrepiece StandarD at Anemone Teatret, Copenhagen. Period : Feb. / March 2000.
